FAQS
Do You Have a Question For Me?
We are located in Golden Colorado, lessons will still be available located at a local Arena. We are willing to still drive to Conifer-Evergreen and surrounding areas. We are also instructing lessons at GMR in evergreen Tuesdays and Thursdays, horses are provided
WHAT ARE OUR PLANS IN WINTER MONTHS?
We are located at a facility with an Indoor arena , and while the arena is watered and kept up its hard to keep the dust down when it’s below freezing . This means if you are asthma prone, summer riding in the outdoor will be the best option for you. When it comes to temperatures, I will keep lessons on as long as it’s above 15 degrees so please dress accordingly.Due to our new location we will primarily be available during the summer months .
WHAT DO WE CHARGE?
I range from $55-$65 per lesson, less for younger children. I do not consider my self a true professional as I am young and still learning myself , but I believe you can always learn from someone no matter what .
WHAT DO YOU REQUIRE?
All students under the age of 18 are required to wear helmets , other then that they are strongly recommended. You will be required to sign a liability form for the stable , stating that you understand the risks of Bieng around these animals . If you haven’t fallen off it’s not a IF it’s a WHEN , everyone falls . Parents and students must fully understand that even when horses are well trained , they are large PRAY animals with a strong flight instinct .Absolutely no drinking or smoking on property under any circumstances. If you leave a horse with me, you will be in charge of paying board each month along with paying my fees per session. You will sign a contract for both me and the facility understanding that we can not control every thing a horse does. We require all your vet information, current vaccines , coggins and a health cert to enter the facility. Horses get 24 hour care, and are worked with 6 days a week regardless of snow .
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you still have any questions about my work.
